🌟 The Student Summer Work Program Has Begun! 🌟
The City of Winslow is excited to welcome the students participating in our summer work program! 👷♀️
In partnership with Winslow High School, this program gives Junior and Senior students the opportunity to earn up to one full school credit gaining valuable hands-on work experience while getting paid! Students will be working with our Parks and Roadside departments throughout the summer.
We look forward to supporting their growth and development, and we’re proud to be part of their journey toward success. Welcome aboard!

In Loving Memory of Mario Gonzales 🕊️
We are deeply saddened by the recent passing of our colleague and friend, Mario. His presence and kindness touched all of us, and he will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts are with his family during this incredibly difficult time. We extend our heartfelt condolences and wish them peace, comfort, and strength in the days ahead.
Mario will always be remembered fondly by those who had the privilege to work alongside him.

🌟 New Ramadas Completed at Hayden Walton Complex! 🌟
We’re excited to share that the brand-new ramadas at the Hayden Walton Complex, located next to the splash pad on E Maple St and N Pope Ave, are officially complete!
This enhancement was made possible through your 1% sales tax!
A special thank you to McCauley’s Construction for completing the project and helping bring this much-needed addition to life.
Come check them out and enjoy some shaded space while the kids splash and play!

As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain the dignity and cleanliness of our cemetery grounds, we are conducting our annual gravesite clean-up. This process ensures that our sacred resting places remain beautiful and well-kept, honoring the memories of our loved ones.
We kindly request all families and visitors to assist us in this endeavor by removing all items, decorations, and personal belongings from gravesites. This includes but is not limited to flowers, candles, ornaments, and any other mementos.
The clean-up will commence on May 23rd and ask that items be removed by May 21st. During this time, our dedicated staff will be diligently working to tidy and beautify the entire cemetery grounds.
Any items left on gravesites after the specified date will be respectfully removed.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Winslow, Arizona, will be selling to the highest bidder various items of surplus property at public auction. The items include: office furniture, shelving, cabinets, tables, and chairs. The auction will be conducted by Public Surplus through its online marketplace at www.publicsurplus.com/sms/browse/home with bidding opening at 7:00 a.m. on May 22, 2025 and closing at 2:00 p.m. on June 5, 2025.
