Class dates April 24th -25th

Pay rate $15.52
Registration Packets are available at the Recreation Department (Indoor Pool 503 E. Loy Engelhardt Way). Certified lifeguard positions are available for the summer and winter months.
• Must be 15 years of age
• Must be able to swim 300 yards continuously demonstrating breath control, rhythmic breathing using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both. Goggles may be used for this portion.
• Must be able to tread water for 2 minutes using legs only.
• Must be able to swim 20 yards using the front crawl or breast stroke, surface dive to a depth of 6 feet , swim 10-15 feet along the bottom to retrieve 10 pound object, return to the surface, swim 20 yards on the back to return the starting point with both hands holding 10 lb. object, keeping face out of the water, and exit the water without using a ladder or steps within 1 minute, 40 seconds. Goggles are not allowed for this portion.
You must attend the Pre-course Swim Session to participate in the class.

Due to an update for our water billing some of our water customers have received a second email with their January 31, 2026 water bill. This is not a new bill. It is a duplicate of the bill that went out on January 31. If you have paid this bill already, please disregard the duplicate statement. Please remember that utility payments are due by the 15th of every month.
