Winslow Arts Council Art Car

The Winslow Arts Council had an idea to create stationary art using non-drivable classic cars around the town.  The blend of art installations and history will help draw people through all of Winslow instead of just to the famous Corner.  Visitors can get a sense of the community and what we have to offer through the art.

The Winslow Arts Council used a 1956 Ford Custom Line and hand painted it with traditional Hopi pottery designs.  Hopi pottery is usually a tan/yellow color with red, white and/or black designs.  The pots used as inspiration were made by local Hopi artists.
