If you’ve strolled through the Mother Road Farmers Market and wondered how we’re able to offer such beautiful fruits, berries, and veggies at unbelievably low prices—here’s the secret: a powerful partnership built on community values and a shared mission to increase access to fresh, nutritious food.
Through a unique collaboration with a trusted regional organization that has spent the past 50 years building strong relationships with farmers and vendors, we’re able to bring in truckloads of fresh produce that would otherwise be out of reach in our rural high desert town. Their motto says it all:
“Our families and employees invite you to come and shop in our locally owned and operated stores that truly care and support our local community. The strong relationships we have built with our local farmers and vendors in our 50 years of business and our commitment to our community is what we proudly hang our hat on.”
While most of this produce isn’t Arizona-grown and doesn’t qualify for AZFMNP coupons or Double Up Bucks, it is eligible for SNAP benefits, and more importantly—it’s fresh, it’s delicious, and it’s available at a price point that works for families in Winslow, Joseph City, the Navajo Nation, and the Hopi Nation.
We may be resellers in this partnership, but our mission stays the same: increase access to affordable, high-quality fruits and vegetables in the Little Colorado Corridor. And thanks to this relationship, we’re doing just that—week after week.
Come see us every Saturday morning, 9am to 1pm
115 e Second St, Winslow AZ
