The transfer station will close for all City holidays as follows:

• New Years day, January 1st
• Martin Luther King Day, third Monday in January
• Presidents Day, third Monday in February
• Easter Sunday
• Memorial Day, last Monday in May
• Juneteenth
• Independence Day, July 4th
• Labor Day, first Monday in September
• Veterans Day, November 11th
• Thanksgiving Day, fourth Thursday in November
• Friday after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Day, December 25th

Items Not Accepted:

The City of Winslow Transfer Station cannot accept oil and other petroleum products, large amounts of paint, batteries, tanks of any kind, chemicals, or heavy construction debris (concrete, dirt, stucco, iron beams, large amount of wood, etc.)

Beginning Wednesday, July 1, 2020, the City of Winslow will be enforcing the Transfer Station voucher system per Section 5-21 of the City fee schedule.  Each household (within the corporate limits of Winslow, AZ 86047 & water utility customers) will be provided with six (6) annual vouchers, free of charge, to use throughout the year. 

Vouchers may be picked up at the Finance Department located at 119 E. First Street.  The Finance Department is open Monday – Friday 7:30 am -4:00 pm.  Additional vouchers may also be purchased at the Finance Department or at the Transfer Station using the convenient kiosk (credit cards only).

Voucher prices are as follows:
Additional City Resident Vouchers
     Any size up to one (1) pick up load:  $5.00
     Utility Trailer - single axle:  $10.00
     Utility Trailer - double axle:  $20.00

Commercial & Non-Resident Vouchers          
     Any size up to one (1) pick up load:  $10.00
     Utility Trailer - single axle:  $20.00
     Utility Trailer - double axle:  $40.00

* Remember to secure or tarp all loads of debris that you are transporting to the Transfer Station.
