City records are considered public records, unless protected by law, and may be viewed and/or reproduced as permitted by law. The Clerk’s office maintains many vital and permanent records including minutes, ordinance and resolutions as well as a variety of other public records.
How do I obtain a copy of a public record?
Copies of public records are available through the City Clerk’s office. To request any public record, please complete a Public Record Request Form and submit to City of Winslow, Attn: City Clerk, 21 Williamson Avenue, Winslow, Arizona 86047 by mail or in person. You may also e-mail a scanned copy of your request to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax the request to (928) 289-3742. The Clerk’s office will inform the requesting party when the record is ready to be picked up. The Clerk’s office will charge a fee of $0.50 per page for paper copies. An hourly fee of $10.00 for staff time in excess of two (2) hours necessary to fulfill the request may also be charged for both electronic records and paper copies. All charges shall be paid in full before the public records are provided.

The City Clerk's Office provides administrative support for the Mayor and City Council. In addition, the City Clerk prepares and distributes all City Council agenda packets; initiates and conducts all City elections; attends all City Council regular, special and work session meetings and prepares minutes thereof; is responsible for recording the permanent legal documents of the City. The City Clerk also updates and codifies supplements to the City's Municipal Code Book.
